What you might not know about the upcoming Runaways biopic movie: It’s being directed by Floria Sigismondi, best known for the music videos she’s directed for David Bowie, Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson and even Christina Aguilera (“Hurt” and “Fighter”)  Her aesthetic is very unique and immediately identifiable, and this is her first attempt at directing a feature length film.

Kristen Stewart has been cast as Joan Jett, who was 17 when she joined the band, and Dakota Fanning as Cherie Currie, who was 15 when she joined.
